What can you help me with?
There are so many circumstances where a Lactation Consultant can support you and your baby. Examples include: sore nipples, milk supply concerns, tongue tie, infant weight concerns, latch difficulty, pumping, supplementation, messy or inefficient feeding, prenatal education and preparation. Just to name a few!
How many visits might I need?
This can vary family to family, based on a variety of factors. You may feel your initial visit has resolved your concerns and you are confident carrying out your plan and strategies. Your feeding experience is always evolving. Many families will benefit from follow up appointments for additional support and assessment as your situation unfolds, particularly if your experience is complex.
Do you have gift certificates?
Yes! Gifting lactation support can have a lasting positive impact on the entire family. Please contact to request your gift certificate.
What is an IBCLC?
IBCLC stands for International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. IBCLCs are an integral part of the infant feeding health care team. IBCLCs have achieved and must maintain a high level of expertise in all aspects of lactation and continuously advance their education as new evidence and best practices emerge.
Does my health plan cover your services?
Many health benefit plans do cover nursing services, in-home nurse visits or lactation consultants. Ask your plan advisor for details. A detailed receipt will be provided.
